Thank you again Ride For Refuge supporters! Your generous pledges exceeded $1166.00 and will support The Urban in its inner city ministry. There were some other pledges too going directly to the Urban via Gloria Dei Lutheran Church.
As you all recall I rode from Winnipeg to Winnipeg Beach with a brief stop at the Urban for photos of the riding teams. It was somewhat cool with light winds but even so a beautiful autumn day and perfect for a long ride. When I arrived at Winnipeg Beach the odometer on my bicycle read 57.96 miles or 93.28 kilometres. The GPS based MapMyRide software I use reads less for some reason with 56.67 miles.
